Nature conservation plan for Tyrol’s river areas

The environmental protection department has drawn up a checklist for small hydropower plants up to 15 MW, which has been approved by the state government. The rivers of Tyrol were classified and the most valuable sections of water were identified. Due to the government decision, the preservation of these stretches of water is in the public interest.
